He could be Jeremiah because it was my intuitive, and I know how he usually text people.

This entry is mainly for my thoughts and feeling about Psychology career path, as requested by Stephanie.

Simply I would say the pay of a Diploma in Psychology is just the same as diploma in mass communication, unless you wanna take Degree course or higher level of study, then you will be able to have a salary of $50,000/year.

However, Psychology enthusiasts who like to study this course actually not for the purpose of earning a lot of money. If you want to have a better/more comfortable living, there are so many alternatives to choose from, like engineering, Doctoring, especially Business. People who are into Psychology already had a very deep inner thought when young and thus developed a great interest in this course. Many people study this course purposefully are not to seek a prospective future, but simply just to find an answer for their own questions. Again, Psychology is a very very demanding/discouraging/difficult/stressful course UNLESS you really love this course and inside your head there are already questions popping up that desperately demand for answer about human behavioral activities, emotions and stuffs. However it is also a very interesting course popping up in the economy, so I guess it will keep you awake most of the time, save for the memorizing part. (:

Psychology is believed to be a science subject, but it is a mixture between science and arts. Psychology is widely linked with Philosophy (which belongs to Arts!) and Biology (which is Science of course!), both theoretically and practically. Sometimes you also have to do foresic study which involves understanding about mysterical activities in brains and bodily functions. You may have to split open a human brain to study why people has such abnormal, or extraordinary behaviours. When somebody reacts aggressively, some areas in the brain will be more active than the others, and sometimes the brains will send signal to the wrong direction, subsequently leading to undesired behaviours and actions. Thinking of Psychology this way is more understandable because it's not just about common sense, but also about rationality. Psychology seeks to find the answer for you.

And yes, you have to memorize a LOT of things.

A Diploma can get you to be a school councillor only, where you earn just as much as the others. Usually people I know taking this course go for Master, or Ph.D. and not because they will earn a lot but they will know a lot more. These people are usually bookworms. Be prepared because taking this course will not give you any time to sleep, let alone going out every day.

I am actually very into Psychology & Philosophy, which Philosophy being the dominant interest of mine. After the O level, I got accepted into Psychology course both in University of Canberra and Australian National Uni. But when I look at the annual fee, I rejected both (ya, call me stupid or whatever, but don't expect any more mercy from me.). Probably it's not a good way at all unless I have Scholarship, which is unlikely. I am very independant and I don't want to touch my parents' money anymore Thus I decided to stay in Singapore and continue studying, to save less trouble. I hope with the course I am not good at, I will just strive to do well and go to uni later.

Never in my life had I given a thought about how much I am gonna earn in the future. It's all about living a life that is worth living.

All the best for you Stephanie, I respect your choice and I hope you will be able to do well in the course you like and maintain a good interest in the course which I find is always happening. If you're good in this course, trust me, you will have a good life in 10 years time.

I beg you read this funny story:

A man went into a small library, and he found a very young and attractive lady sitting on a table near the corner. When he came near the lady and wanted to make friends, the lady shouted: "GO AWAY, YOU FILTHY PERVERT!"

Everybody instantly spun around and stared at him. Extremely embarrassed, he quickly walked away, his face burning red. A little while later, the lady came to the man's table and whispered:

"I'm sorry, I am a first year Psychology student, and I was trying to know how people react in unusual situations."

Suddenly the man cried out loud:
"NO WAY! $5000 A NIGHT IS TOO MUCH!"

I think you get the joke right? (: Just for fun haha.

Yay, I'm getting back in shape!

How come a lot of people say I look like this guy Wu Chun from the Taiwanese band Fahrenheit?

Even Mr. Lim from Fuchun also said that. Now it's a group of NS people from church. Cool people though, enjoy going out with them.
